Sophia Large

HR Generalist

Sophia Large was born in Miamisburg, Ohio, and moved to New York a week after her eighteenth birthday. She graduated high school early at the age of seventeen, with the plan to move and attend school in the city. Sophia grew up with a love of animals and has been vegetarian since she was eleven. Music also played a large part in her childhood; she began learning piano at the age of seven and can now play seven instruments.

She began working at KYU NYC in early 2022 as part of the opening team. She started on the reservationist team and now works as KYU's HR Generalist. Although this is her first job in the hospitality industry, she loves working in the field and is grateful for everything she's learned at KYU. Currently, she's attending school in the city and plans to receive her B.B.A. in Human Resources Management.
