Chef de Cuisine
Nathan was born and raised in Savannah, GA, and attended Auburn University where he developed the need to move to the big city. After graduating with a degree in Geography and Anthropology, he sold his car and most of his worldly possessions for an unpaid internship in NYC. A love of food and the need for income began the 13-year development and growth of passion for hospitality by way of over 10 establishments, most notably including earning Michelin stars at Piora and Gunter Seeger NY and working with Noma cofounder, Mads Refslund, at Acme.
Nathan joined the KYU family in late 2022 as the Chef de Cuisine of KYU NY. While not at work, he enjoys long walks on the beach, going to Yankees games, playing guitar, and hanging out with his fiancé and 3 cats.
