Executive Sous Chef - Miami

Pedro was born in Minas Gerais, Brazil. At the age of 23, he moved to Florida, USA. His passion for cooking began after spending weekends at his grandparents' house, where they would prepare traditional Brazilian dishes like churrasco, feijoada, and galinhada for the whole family on Sundays.

He attended a Federal College in Brazil, studying Industrial Engineering. However, after four years, he decided to pursue his passion for Culinary Arts. He commenced his journey at KYU in February 2021 as a line cook and steadily climbed the ranks to become the Executive Sous Chef.

During his leisure time, Pedro enjoys spending time on the beach, watching movies, and hosting barbecue gatherings for his family and friends. He is an avid fan of sports, particularly soccer and tennis. His favorite beverage is orange juice, and his preferred dish is churrasco.
